Gentle John’s Moving & Storage Jobs
Gentle John’s Moving & Storage is a drug free work place. All candidates must agree to random drug and alcohol testing and must be drug free to be considered. Our candidates will also need to agree to criminal background testing and motor vehicle checks as well.
Applicants for mover positions must have at least two years of moving experience. Commercial moving experience is also preferred. Applicants for driver positions should maintain a DOT medical card in accordance with state law. A CDL is not required but is a plus. We required our movers and drivers to undergo a complete training program that goes over the standards we hold for our quality packing, disassembly and reassembly, loading and unloading, lifting, safety and more.
All candidates must have a valid high school diploma or GED to be considered. We also require our candidates to hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Our Gentle John’s Moving & Storage team serves our customers at the highest level and coordinates efficiently with our internal team members on logistics and other needs. Our employees are expected to be on time and dressed appropriately. We expect our team to be friendly and courteous to all our customers and provide the top moving service and customer care possible, no matter what.
Our moving positions require candidates to be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds to be considered. You should have a flexible schedule to accommodate moves throughout the year as needed. We aim to offer dependable and flexible services to our customers.
